Update On New OB

So it's not really a new Ob. I'm going to the hospital. I will be going there every week for the next 6 weeks and then twice a week for the last 4 weeks or until I have little Aydan. I will see a different doctor at every visit and I will not know the doctor that will deliver me. We are not liking this very much. But whatever we have to do for the little one we will do. I will probably go on insulin but I will know for sure on Wednesday. When I go every week it will be for at least 3 hrs. I will see a doctor, a nutritionist and a diabetic doctor every week and I also will have a non stress test for an hr every time. I will have an ultrasound in 2 weeks and again at week 36. They will see if she is getting too big and if she is schedule me to either have a c-section or be induced. That's all I know until Wednesday. Tomorrow I will post pics from our vacation.

New Everything

I know I said I was going to post pictures but I will get to them promise! Alot has been going on over here this week. The nutritionist I thought I was going to see wasn't. Its a high risk doctor. I went to my doctor today and the receptionist asked me if I had had my consult yet because they were handling me over to them. I told her no I haven't been able to get anyone on the phone. She tells me they will have an appt. for me before I leave. Yes the people I have been trying to get ahold of for over a week still have not gotten back to me. Well yes they did, once, to tell me I couldn't make an appt till I talked to the financial people first. I still haven't heard back from her and Ive left about 10 messages. Even a couple on her emergency phone. Nothing. But I did get an appt today. My doctor had to do it but I have it. My doctor I was seeing does not do high risk. And the only doctor that does that my insurance will pay for is over an hr away. I will no longer be delivering at the hospital I thought I was going to be 25 mins away from home. But a hospital I have never seen an hr away. I don't like this. I don't do change very well and this is a change for everything. I will know a lot more on Friday evening and def will tell yall everything then. Wish me luck, I think I need some.

GD

Well just a really quick update because we just got back into town. We had a wonderful time on our trip bit its really great to be back home. I'm exhausted. My 3 hr test came back high so I do have GD. It really bums me out but there isn't much I can do about it. I got to the doctor on Wednesday and Ill have a lot of questions for him. Ill post more about our vacation later and pics too of course but for now I'm going to go lay down for a much deserved break.

3 Hr Test

So I had my 3 Hr test and I wont know how I did until Monday. Lets just say I don't think I did too well. Before we left for the hospital I took my blood and after fasting for 12 hrs my sugar was at 131. And that was not with the glucose drink in me yet. But I still have my fingers crossed and on Monday I will find out for sure. I really wanted to find out before we left on vacation but it was not meant to be. We will be heading out first thing in the morning and will not be back until Sunday the 12th. Hope everyone has a happy Forth of July. I will post when we get back and I will have lots of photos to share as well.

Failed

So I got a call from the doctors today saying I failed my 1 hr test. The result should not be over 135 and I was at 199. So tomorrow morning I will be at the hospital at 6:15 am for 3 hrs. At this point I'm not quite sure what to think about all this. I don't know how tomorrow will go but I should know before I leave the hospital how I did. I will let you all know when I know. Belly Pics

Here as promised is my latest belly pic. I have been really terrible and have not taken a pic in 7 Weeks! The first one is at 4 weeks, the second is at 13 and the the last is at 27 weeks. I Think I have gotten alot BIGGER. lol.

27 Weeks

We are 27 weeks today! I honestly can't believe we have made it this far. Tomorrow I go for my 1 hr glucose test so hopefully all goes well with that. Teressa, R, myself and Teressa's niece are going on a little trip Friday. We will be driving to St. Louis and to Branson for a much needed vacation before baby. It will be our last trip until April or May next year. The only bad thing is because I'm saving the little time I have for maternity leave I will not be getting paid for the week. It will be a little tight but it will be ok. I'm off to work right now but when I get back I will post my belly pic.

Less Then 100

We are 26 Weeks today. We now have less then 100 Days till we meet our little peanut. I cannot wait! She is moving so much more everyday and I love to lay in bed in the morning and just feel her. I really need to post some belly pics though I have been a little lax on taking them. The weeks just keep flying by. Teressa and I went camping this weekend and we had a lot of fun. Though I don't think we will be doing it again this summer. I am not so far along but let me tell you after sleeping on the ground in a tent I am hurting today. We went after I got off work on Friday and its a good thing I got off early because if we had not shown up till 6 when I was supposed to get off we would not have been setting up. It totally down poured from 6 till 9. Luckily Teressa's brother was staying in the next campsite with a camper and we hung out in there till it stopped. When we went to the tent everything had a light mist on it but was relatively dry. Saturday and Sunday were beautiful and we had a great 2 days. I hope everyone had a great weekend and a nice Father's Day.

Sick

My poor baby is sick. Teressa was up all last night throwing up. And has not been able to keep anything down today. So I have spent all day taking care of her. Baby is doing great, moving around all the time. We did have a little scare yesterday when I had not felt her all day long. So at around 2:30 when we got home we checked the Heartbeat and it was nice and strong. About 5 mins after we found the heartbeat she started kicking. Little stinker. lol. I hope everyone had a great weekend.

Nursery Pics and Other Unveilings (lots of pics)

Ok I know I disappeared for a while again and I'm sorry. We have had a very eventful 2 weeks. First off, I am unveiling our names. I battled with this for a while but have decided to go ahead. I am Megan and my lovely Partner is Teressa. The only name I will not tell is R's because I don't have that right. There, Its good to be out. This last week I spent 5 hours in L&D. I have been cramping for about 5 weeks now. No spotting just cramps. Well about a week ago they started to get alot worse. I had my doctors appointment and told him what was going on and he sent me upstairs. They hooked me up to the machines and also took an ultrasound. Everything looked great. Baby was doing great moving all around and I was not having any type of contractions. I am still cramping but as long as everything is fine I can deal with it.

Another exciting news is Teressa can now feel the baby move. I can still only feel her move when I am laying down and sitting. Teressa was so happy yesterday when she felt her for the first time and just had a huge grin from ear to ear. I also can see her move too. That is a sight, just to be looking at my tummy and see it move! I just get a smile every time I feel her move its just so amazing.

We have also finished our nursery. The only thing we really need is baskets for the tables and I have to sew a curtain for the window and a cover for the night stand. I am also sewing a small curtain to cover the hanging cloths. I know it is still really early but Teressa has alot of physical difficulties and I wanted to be able to help her while I could.
